Exclusive: Spawn<\/a> and The Dark Knight<\/a> actor Michael Jai White<\/a> has joined the cast of martial arts feature Paper Made<\/a>, which is underway in Tampa, Florida.<\/p>\n

The martial arts vet joins Myles Truitt<\/a> (Bmf<\/a>), Taimak<\/a> (The Last Dragon<\/a>), Walter E. Jones<\/a> (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/a>), Quartay DeNaya<\/a> (Pizza Guys Vs Vampires<\/a>) and wrestler Daria Rae Berenato<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Writer-director Ryan Watson<\/a>\u2019s film is set in a fictional Hbcu (historically Black colleges and universities) and follows Tavon Watkins (Truitt), who joins a secret fraternity of Black martial artists after a severe hazing incident. The script was co-written by Watson and Jerron Horton<\/a> (Forever)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Described as \u201ca master of nearly a dozen martial arts disciplines,\u201d White became the first non-Asian recipient of the Bruce Lee Award Award in 2025. He will also serve as an executive producer on Paper Made.<\/p>\n

Also newly joining the movie are veteran actor and martial artist Marrese Crump<\/a>, Jaden Lucas Miller<\/a>…<\/p>\n
