Christina Applegate<\/a>\u2019s memoir \u201cYou With the Sad Eyes\u201d publishes March 3 and an exclusive excerpt is now available to read on Vulture<\/a> in which the Emmy winner writes candidly about her body image struggles while filming \u201cMarried\u2026 with Children.\u201d Applegate starred as Kelly Bundy<\/a> on all 11 seasons of the classic Fox sitcom. She originally passed on the show after \u201cI read the script and thought it was trash.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me, and to my mom, it read like a bunch of poorly written potty humor,\u201d Applegate explains. \u201cI\u2019d turned down \u2018Married<\/a> \u2026,\u2019 so the pilot featured another kid in the role of Kelly, but it just didn\u2019t work so they came back to me.
