A carpet hosting gig is no joke, but Zanna Roberts Rassi makes it look easy. Last night at the Actor Awards<\/a>, the Milk Makeup co-founder and veteran journalist interviewed star after star at ELLE\u2019s premiere spot on the red carpet. Questions for the likes of Heated Rivalry<\/em>\u2019s Connor Storrie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leslie Bibb, host Kristen Bell<\/a>, and more included asks about their fashion choices and current projects. A seasoned awards show pro, Roberts Rassi notes that to truly kill a carpet, it takes hard work and hours of prep. \u201cPrep week is a blur,\u201d she says. \u201cCalls with stylists and designers about the looks about to hit the carpet, writing questions, studying the room. Meanwhile, I\u2019m a literal moving target for my poor glam team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her getting-ready routine, of course, includes countless Milk Makeup products. On the day of the Actor Awards, at The Maybourne Beverly Hills<\/a>, Roberts Rassi used what she calls her Hydro \u201csandwich,\u201d including the Hydro Grip Hydrating Primer<\/a>, Gel Tint<\/a>, Gel Concealer<\/a>, and Set + Refresh Spray.<\/a> \u201cIt has to survive 10-plus hours under lights and 360-degree cameras,\u201d Roberts Rassi shares. \u201cMy Milk Makeup Hydro \u2018sandwich\u2019 keeps everything hydrated and locked\u2014no flake, no cake, no crack.\u201d <\/p>\n

For her look, which followed the night\u2019s sartorial theme of \u201cReimagining Hollywood Glamour From the \u201920s and \u201930s,\u201d Roberts Rassi\u2019s personal inspiration was \u201cwhat would Clara Bow do in 2026?\u201d Her solution came in the form of an Alexander McQueen gown with a drop waist. She paired the gown with circular infinity hoops. \u201cA little sparkle, or a lot, lifts the entire face,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
