In one encounter, Amria said that a man video-called her while his wife slept beside him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was kind of proud … like, \u2018This is so naughty.\u2019 I think he wanted to be scolded,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

According to Amira, many of her subscribers lead traditional lives on the surface \u2014 husbands, fathers, churchgoers \u2014 while privately exploring submissive fantasies online.<\/p>\n

Amira claims that financial domination \u2014 where men are instructed to send money \u2014 is also common.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou use degrading language because that\u2019s what they want,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd they love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amira said that she was also struck by how often men criticised their wives or partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll say, \u2018My wife never does this for me\u2019, or \u2018She\u2019s too vanilla\u2019. They compare us \u2014 my body, my age, everything. It\u2019s actually really sad,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
