Billy Barratt, the fast-rising British actor who landed strong critical praise for his performance in the A24 horror \u201cBring Her Back,\u201d has signed with CAA.<\/p>\n
In Variety\u2018s review of the Philippous Brothers\u2019 follow up to their genre smash hit \u201cTalk to Me,\u201d it said it was \u201cstriking to see a young actor like Barratt, who has the look of a Robert Pattinson in the making, burrow so far into insecurity and terror.\u201d<\/p>\n
More from Variety<\/strong><\/p>\n The 18-year-old made, who marked his big screen debut in 2016 with \u201cTo Dream,\u201d made history in 2019 when, at the age of 13, he became the youngest-ever winner of the International Emmy Award for best actor for his portrayal of \u201cRay\u201d in the BBC drama \u201cResponsible Child.\u201d The film went on to earn two BAFTA nominations and saw renewed success with its 2025 Netflix UK re-release, where it held the No. 1 spot for two weeks.<\/p>\n Barratt\u2019s additional film credits include Sony\/Marvel\u2019s \u201cKraven the Hunter,\u201d Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 \u201cMy Spy: Eternal City,\u201d Disney\u2019s \u201cCrater,\u201d \u201cBlinded By the Light\u201d and \u201cMary Poppins Returns.\u201d<\/p>\n He\u2019ll next star opposite David Jonsson, Cooper Hoffman and Paul Dano in India Donaldson\u2019s sophomore feature \u201cThe Chaperones.\u201d The A24 road trip dramedy is produced by Plan B and Icki Eneo Arlo.<\/p>\n On the television side, Barratt is perhaps best known for his long-running role as \u201cCaspar Morrow\u201d on Apple TV+\u2019s sci-fi series \u201cInvasion,\u201d where he has been a central character across three seasons.
