This AI-generated content is then \u201cremoved upon detection\u201d according to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whathifi.com\/tag\/qobuz\" data-auto-tag-linker=\"true\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.whathifi.com\/tag\/qobuz\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.whathifi.com\/tag\/qobuz\">Qobuz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">We have asked exactly how the proprietary tool works, and whether it uses AI itself, and will update this story once we have an answer.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a noble intention, looking to safeguard artists\u2019 earnings while also giving users a more authentic listening experience. In January, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.bandcamp.com\/2026\/01\/13\/keeping-bandcamp-human\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" data-url=\"https:\/\/blog.bandcamp.com\/2026\/01\/13\/keeping-bandcamp-human\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\">Bandcamp made clear<\/a> that it would not permit music that is \u201cgenerated wholly or in substantial part by AI\u201d on its platform, with a reporting tool for use by anyone suspecting that what they are listening to wasn\u2019t made by humans.<\/p>\n<p>AI is a fast evolving technology, and as it becomes more sophisticated, it could become harder to spot tracks made using it.
