Saturday Night Live\u2019s Colin Jost will visit Penn State\u2019s Bryce Jordan Center for a stand-up show on March 18, the venue announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance are $20 and go on sale to the general public<\/a><\/strong> at noon on Friday through Ticketmaster. University Park students can purchase tickets now<\/a><\/strong> for the same price and will have exclusive access to general admission floor tickets through March 10.<\/p>\n Jost is best known as for his work on SNL\u2019s \u201cWeekend Update,\u201d which he has co-hosted with Michael Che since 2014. He joined the NBC late-night comedy institution in 2005 as a writer and has served as the show\u2019s co-head writer from 2012 to 2015 and 2017 to 2022.<\/p>\n As a writer, he has also published pieces in the likes of The New Yorker and The New York Times Magazine, authored the best-selling memoir \u201cA Very Punchable Face,\u201d and wrote the screenplay for the coming-of-age comedy \u201cStaten Island Summer.\u201d <\/p>\n Aside from SNL, on-screen Jost has appeared in films including \u201cHow to Be Single\u201d and \u201cComing 2 America,\u201d hosted \u201cPop Culture Jeopardy!\u201d on Amazon Prime and with Che co-hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018.
