NEW YORK CITY — <\/span>The Walt Disney Company won big at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards on Monday night.<\/p>\n The Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, celebrates the best in creativity and innovation in children’s entertainment.<\/p>\n The Walt Disney Company won 22 awards across its content brands and studios, including Disney+, which took home 21 of those awards.<\/p>\n “Descendants: The Rise Of Red” and “Win or Lose” tied for the most honored program with five wins.<\/p>\n Disney’s “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” was the most-nominated series, and won Outstanding Young Teen Series.<\/p>\n During the ceremony, Bill Nye the Science Guy was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and also spoke to entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo.<\/p>\n “I put my heart and soul into that thing, and all the things I do, and I’ve been a member of the national academy since I guess 1985,” he said. “So, this is very nice.
