A beautiful New Orleans wedding<\/a> between two Broadway stars was featured in Vogue<\/a>, where the couple talked about their love for the city and how they decided on the venue.<\/p>\n Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney, who acted together in \u201cHadestown\u201d and \u201cCabaret,\u201d told Vogue they had always dreamed of a wedding in their \u201cfavorite city.\u201d<\/p>\n Within a few hours of being in New Orleans, they were convinced.<\/p>\n The couple chose the lavish Hotel Peter and Paul in the Marigny district, a church converted into a wedding venue and boutique hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI never ever dreamed of having a destination wedding,\u201d Noblezada told Vogue. \u201cReeve and I knew for several years that N\u2019awlins was the city that we would \u2018celebrate our love\u2019 in, so we just wanted everything to feel as special and perfect as we felt about each other.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n According to Vogue, the October wedding featured music from the New Orleans-based Harry Hardin\u2019s string octet, Louisiana fruit at the reception and was followed by a classic Second Line complete with lacy parasols.<\/p>\n Originally from New York, Carney has performed in New Orleans regularly for over a decade. Two years into their relationship, when the couple first traveled to the city together, they told Vogue they realized the city was where they would tie the knot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Noblezada, of San Diego, even got ready for the day in a T-shirt that said \u201cNew Orleans\u201d surrounded by red hearts and gemstone adornments.<\/p>\n The couple met in 2018 during Noblezada\u2019s audition for \u201cHadestown\u201d with the National Theatre\u2019s London production. They completed their run of \u201cCabaret\u201d on the West End in January.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile we were planning the wedding, there were some moments when it seemed like our ideas were maybe too much or too big,\u201d Noblezada told Vogue. \u201cBut we just kept reminding each other that this was our celebration of love. We deserved to have whatever the hell we wanted on our day.
