Jodie Sweetin<\/strong><\/a> offered a rare public opinion on the political ideologies of her former Full House<\/em><\/a> costar Candace Cameron Bure<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the February 13 episode<\/a> of the \u201cOnly Child With Bob the Drag Queen\u201d podcast, host Bob the Drag Queen<\/strong> brought Bure, 49, up in conversation with Sweetin, 44.<\/p>\n

\u201cCandace has gone a little bit\u2026\u201d Bob, 39, said before trailing off as Sweetin, who initially starred as Bure\u2019s onscreen sibling in the 1980s to 1990s sitcom before the pair reprised their roles in Netflix\u2019s 2016 spinoff Fuller House<\/em><\/a>, picked up his sentence.<\/p>\n

\u201cCandace does her thing and, you know, we sit on very opposite sides of things and I\u2019m just, kind of, a loud outspoken bitch about a lot of things, and that\u2019s not going to stop me and if that ain\u2019t you, that ain\u2019t you,\u201d Sweetin said.<\/p>\n

Bob also joked that \u201cmaybe Candace will play Karoline Leavitt<\/strong>\u201d if the White House press secretary and Republican party member were ever portrayed by an actor, which drew an eye roll from Sweetin before she said, \u201cThose lips though, those lips,\u201d referring to online speculation about Leavitt\u2019s puffier appearance in recent months.<\/p>\n

Sweetin is a vocal advocate for issues including the LGBTQIA+ community and reproductive freedom while Bure holds conservative ideologies due to her devout Christian faith.<\/p>\n

In December 2025, Sweetin, who played Stefanie Tanner on Full House<\/em> opposite Bure\u2019s DJ Tanner, spoke out<\/a> in support of her former costar\u2019s faith. \u201cShe was the closest thing I had to a sister. We fought like sisters, even when we were kids, that\u2019s the relationship we had,\u201d Sweetin said on the December 16 episode of \u201cThe Moment\u201d podcast. \u201cCandace\u2019s faith, to be quite honest, has always been at the forefront for her, and I have zero problem with that.\u201d<\/p>\n
