\u201cThe Perfect Neighbor<\/a>,\u201d Netflix\u2019s Oscar-nominated documentary, has now surpassed 50 million views on the streamer since launching in October of 2025, IndieWire<\/a> can reveal exclusively. Those may not be \u201cTiger King<\/a>\u201d numbers, but it\u2019s safely among some of Netflix\u2019s most-watched Oscar-nominated documentaries.<\/p>\n

Perhaps more impressively, in the two weeks since the film received its Oscar nomination, viewing for \u201cThe Perfect Neighbor<\/a>\u201d more than tripled compared to the prior week. The film was also bolstered by a win for Best Documentary at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Critics Choice Awards (it doesn\u2019t hurt that this week\u2019s episode of \u201cLast Week Tonight with John Oliver<\/a>\u201d was all about police body cameras).<\/p>\n
