They&#8217;ve signed to Sargent House for new album <em>When Does This Place Become Our Scene<\/em>, due out in June, and its exhilarating lead single is out today. As the album opener and pseudo title track, &#8220;The Scene&#8221; works as a mini-manifesto for Hammok&#8217;s whole deal, both sonically and lyrically. It&#8217;s an urgent and explosive rock track in search of a movement.<\/p>\n<p>Vocalist Tobias Osland explains that the song came together while Hammok were touring across Europe:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Everything was sort of a natural response to how good the tour was going, and all the people we had met up to that point.
