Eager for more Bachelor Nation content<\/a> after a months-long hiatus? Good news! HGTV is providing us with some reprieve ahead of the upcoming “Bachelorette” season<\/a>.<\/p>\n HGTV\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0newest\u00a0design competition<\/a>\u00a0series, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” dropped this week, on March 2, with its premiere episode showcasing a dozen\u00a0“Bachelor” alumni<\/a>\u00a0to makeover at the iconic Bachelor Mansio<\/span>n.<\/p>\n The contestants were split into teams \u2014 men vs. women \u2014 and were tasked with making over bunk rooms within four days.<\/p>\n \u201cThese aren\u2019t just makeovers,\u201d host Jesse Palmer said ahead of the challenge. \u201cYou\u2019re going to be solving real-life mansion problems. Storage, space, privacy\u2026Just think back to your time here and what was missing.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Palmer, the teams were judged based on design, problem-solving, execution, qualities of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and how “well you all bring your ideas together.\u201d Here’s what to know about HGTV’s newest competition show and how to watch it.<\/p>\n There are two Floridians on the cast of HGTV’s “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” this season: Tyler Cameron of Jupiter and Allyshia Gupta of Tampa.<\/p>\n Tyler was introduced to viewers during season 15\u00a0of\u00a0“The Bachelorette,” as one of Hannah Brown’s potential suitors. At the time of filming, he was 26 years old and listed his occupation as a “general contractor.”<\/p>\n Despite not being chosen by Brown at the end, he quickly rose in Bachelor Nation’s rankings and has become one of the more popular alumni from the franchise. In his post-“Bachelorette” career, he has appeared in several shows (including his own Amazon Prime show<\/a> in 2024), written a book, and is now in a long-term relationship.<\/p>\n As for Allyshia, viewers first saw her on Grant Ellis’s season of “The Bachelor.” She is an\u00a0interior designer living in Tampa.<\/p>\n She was eliminated early in the season but got another chance at love on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2025.
