\n David and Victoria Beckham have both posted birthday messages to their estranged son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham<\/a>, extending what appears to be an olive branch amid a very public feud.\n <\/p>\n

\n The couple took to Instagram<\/a> to wish Peltz Beckham well, both posting the same image of themselves in a swimming pool with a young Brooklyn in between them.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cHappy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,\u201d the caption on Victoria Beckham\u2019s post reads.\n <\/p>\n

\n And Spice Girl-turned-fashion-designer Victoria did similar, uploading a black-and-white image of herself swinging her toddler son in her arms.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cHappy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much,\u201d she wrote.\n <\/p>\n

\n The posts come after Peltz Beckham exposed the depth of his rift with his parents in a blistering Instagram post<\/a> in January, which confirmed a long-rumored family relationship breakdown.\n <\/p>\n

\n He said he does not want to reconcile with his famous parents, \ufeff<\/strong>and criticized their \u201cperformative social media posts.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Peltz Beckham also accused them <\/strong>of trying to \u201cruin\u201d his marriage to American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz, daughter of businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cFor my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,\u201d Peltz Beckham wrote, adding that his parents had been \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin\u201d his relationship with his wife, since before their wedding in 2022.\n <\/p>\n

\n He adopted a double-barreled surname following the nuptials.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,\u201d Peltz Beckham told his 16.3 million Instagram followers<\/a> in a lengthy statement posted across six stories on the platform.\n <\/p>\n

\n In his statement, Peltz Beckham referred to several instances that seemingly contributed to the rift, including allegations that his mother \u201chijacked\u201d his first dance with his wife at their wedding.\n <\/p>\n

\n He recalled how he had gone to the stage expecting to see his new wife.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cInstead my mum was waiting to dance with me,\u201d Peltz Beckham wrote.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cMy wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we\u2019ve tried to come together as one.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n In late January, the DJ who performed at the wedding, known as DJ Fat Tony (real name Tony Marnach), appeared to confirm some elements of Peltz Beckham\u2019s account.\n <\/p>\n

\n Marnach recalled how Peltz Beckham was \u201cliterally devastated\u201d when Victoria went onto the stage.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cHe thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Then Nicola leaves the room, crying her eyes out,\u201d Marnach said.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cBrooklyn is stuck there on stage, and they do this dance, and Marc Anthony says \u2018put your hands on your mother\u2019s hips\u2019 \u2026 and the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room,\u201d added Marnach.\n <\/p>\n
