Netflix<\/a> is no longer contemplating a future that includes Warner Bros.<\/a>, having ceded the heated M&a<\/a> battle to Paramount Skydance<\/a>. Netflix CFO Spence Neumann, speaking Wednesday at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, reiterated the company\u2019s position that it bailed out of the bidding for Warner Bros. because Paramount<\/a> increased its offer price.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe short answer is, it was all about price,\u201d Neumann<\/a> said. \u201cWe said all along this opportunity was a nice-to-have at the right price, not a must-have at any price,\u201d he added, echoing Netflix co-ceo Ted Sarandos\u2019 previous statement.<\/p>\n
