The agreement combines the strengths of two established coffee and tea companies\u2014which represent nearly 250 years of combined industry experience\u2014and will help Royal Cup expand its national reach in foodservice and retail. <\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-1607861\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Royal Cup acquiring Farmer Brothers Coffee Co. <\/h2>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Ffbid%3D112529652117331%26set%3Da.112528718784091%26type%3D3&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"371\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Two major coffee manufacturers and distributors are teaming up to share industry experience, align service operations and expand their operational reach. <\/p>\n<p>With roots dating back to 1896, Royal Cup Coffee &amp; Tea is a Birmingham-based, family-owned business that manufactures and distributes premium coffee and tea throughout the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.\u00a0Founded in California in 1912, Farmer Brother Coffee Co. specializes in organic, Direct Trade and sustainably produced coffee alongside cappuccino mixes, spices and baking\/biscuit mixes. <\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, Royal Cup will acquire all outstanding shares of Farmer Brothers for $1.29\/share in an all-cash transaction expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to approval by a majority of Farmer Brothers\u2019 shareholders and other customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFarmer Brothers and Royal Cup have both been distinguished coffee distributors for more than a century.
