Less than two months after Brooklyn Peltz Beckham spoke publicly about a feud between himself and his family, his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, posted messages to their social media pages wishing him a happy 27th birthday.<\/p>\n
On March 4, David Beckham posted on Instagram a throwback photo of him, his wife and Peltz Beckham as a toddler, all smiling in a pool.<\/p>\n
\u201c27 today \ud83e\udd79,\u201d he captioned the picture, while also tagging Victoria.<\/p>\n
\u201cHappy birthday Bust \ud83e\udd0d,\u201d he added. \u201cWe love you x.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also tagged his wife in another photo he posted \u2014 a black and white picture of him with Peltz Beckham as a boy, just a bit older than he was in the pool picture. He and his father smile as they look in the camera.<\/p>\n Victoria Beckham shared the pool photo, writing, \u201cHappy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n She also posted a black and white picture of her playing with Peltz Beckham as a toddler, while he was in a diaper.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d she captioned the image.<\/p>\n In January, Peltz Beckham, the oldest of\u00a0the Beckhams\u2019 four children<\/a>,\u00a0blasted his parents<\/a>\u00a0in a lengthy statement on his Instagram story. He claimed they tried to ruin his relationship with wife\u00a0Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/a>, whom he married in 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family,\u201d Peltz Beckham wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cFor my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.\u201d<\/p>\n He said his parents made \u201cbrand Beckham\u201d their priority and denied rumors that his wife \u201ccontrols\u201d him.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n Victoria and David Beckham did not reply to TODAY.com\u2019s request for comment about their son\u2019s post at the time. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham also did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n Rumors about a rift between Peltz Beckham and his parents have circled online for a few years.
