Celebrity lip reading is being taken to a whole new level across the pond, where Channel 5 is releasing a documentary called Lipreading the Royals. And one lip reader went ahead and analyzed footage of Prince William and his disgraced uncle, ex-Prince Andrew, talking after the Duchess of Kent\u2019s funeral back in September\u2014just weeks before Andrew was stripped of his titles.<\/p>\n

According to the lip reader (via The Express<\/em><\/a>) Andrew said “I’ve learned from what I’ve done.\u201d He also added \u201cBut before I forget, I’d like to ask you if you can forgive?\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, royal author Andrew Lownie said that Andrew\u2019s comments to William had made him \u201cfurious\u201d and he was particularly upset about being photographed with him at the service.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him,\u201d Lownie said<\/a>. \u201cHe believes his father has not dealt with him with sufficient firmness and that Andrew \u2013 and Sarah Ferguson \u2013 have done much to undermine the good work of other members of the Royal Family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since September, Andrew\u2019s had his titles stripped, been evicted form the Royal Lodge (where he was living rent free), and was arrested on his birthday. It remains to be seen whether he\u2019ll stand trial.<\/p>\n
