One of the most iconic photographs of King Charles’s<\/a> reign so far would never have been allowed if Queen Elizabeth II<\/a> was still on the throne, a royal photographer has said. The image, which showed King Charles and Queen Camilla after their Coronation in 2023,<\/a> was taken from behind them as they stepped out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The photograph, which was widely used around the world, offers a different perspective on one of the most historic moments in the Royal Family\u2019s history. However, the photographer behind the iconic capture, Chris Jackson, believes that such a shot would not have been taken if Queen Elizabeth II were around.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As reported by People magazine<\/a>, Chris Jackson told Vanity Fair: “We all remember Queen Elizabeth II, an iconic figure who was revered and respected around the world, and someone I always thoroughly enjoyed photographing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cBut since King Charles became King, I have noticed a significant change in the way things are done.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cTake the cover of the book as an example. Capturing that moment from behind the royal couple on the balcony of Buckingham Palace was something that would never have been allowed during Queen Elizabeth\u2019s reign. It signaled a change.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “King Charles has certainly approached aspects of the role differently, as one would expect, diversifying and modernizing.
