Eric Dane<\/a><\/strong>‘s posthumous memoir, My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments<\/a><\/em>, officially has a release date.<\/p>\n On Thursday<\/a>, Mar. 5, just two weeks after the beloved actor’s death, Penguin Random House announced the highly-anticipated book will be published by Maria Shriver<\/strong>‘s imprint, The Open Field, on Nov. 3, 2026.<\/p>\n In a post<\/a> shared by Shriver on Mar. 5, the book is described as a “deeply personal reflection on family, resilience, faith, sobriety, fatherhood<\/a>, and what it means to live fully in the face of terminal illness.”<\/p>\n Shriver noted that Dane worked on the manuscript “until the very end, determined to leave behind a record of the days that mattered most.”<\/p>\n \u201cI was honored he chose my publishing imprint, The Open Field, to publish his memoir,” Shriver added. “He told me he wanted his family to know how much he loved them, and he wanted to leave them a story they could be proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n Dane shared daughters Billie<\/strong>, 16, and Georgia<\/strong>, 14, with Rebecca Gayheart<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n RELATED: \u2018Grey\u2019s Anatomy\u2019 Pays Tribute to Eric Dane with Montage of His Most Memorable Moments<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Dane died at the age of 53 on Thursday<\/a>, Feb. 19 following a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.<\/p>\n An official synopsis<\/a> for the memoir states that “My Book of Days<\/em> captures everything from the grind of his early years in Hollywood and the hard-won peace<\/a> of sobriety to the profound clarity that came with his ALS diagnosis.
