<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lasalle.ca\/living-in-lasalle\/lasalle-police-service\/news\/#RiseinGrandparentScams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LaSalle Police Service<\/a> in Ontario, emergency services responded to a report of a stabbing shortly before 9:30 p.m. on March 3. <\/p>\n<p>The victim, later identified as Grewal, was transported to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Influencer Nancy Grewal, pictured here on Instagram in wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Grewal was 45 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Grewal\u2019s sister, Alishaa Grewal, shared a tribute to the content creator <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVfcHj7gld4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a very heavy heart I share that my beloved sister Nancy Grewal has passed away on 3 March 2026,\u201d Alishaa wrote, posting a picture of Nancy with angel wings. \u201cI lost my sister, my strength, my forever friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Grewal was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries, LaSalle Police Service said in a press release. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@realnancygrewal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The sister,\u201d she continued. \u201cYou will always live in our hearts. \ud83e\udd0d\ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alishaa <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/toronto.citynews.ca\/2026\/03\/05\/khalistan-movement-critic-nancy-grewal-stabbed-to-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told CityNews Toronto<\/a> that she believes her sister\u2019s murder was \u201cpre-planned.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason is social media videos, obviously,\u201d she said. \u201cI think this is revenge \u2026 many times she spoke about people [who are] not doing right things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe this is the reason for her murder,\u201d she continued, noting her sister called out people by name in her videos.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Alishaa said she believes her sister\u2019s murder was \u201cpre-planned\u201d and that the motive was Nancy sharing her opinions on social media. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@realnancygrewal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Nancy was known for her lifestyle content as well as giving her thoughts on Indian and Canadian politics. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@realnancygrewal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>LaSalle Police Service told the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/windsorstar.com\/news\/local-news\/lasalle-police-identify-woman-stabbed-to-death-on-todd-lane\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Windsor Star <\/a>that investigators are viewing the murder as an \u201cisolated incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nancy was known for posting lifestyle content as well as giving her take on Indian and Canadian politics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She had over 13,000
