However, there\u2019s also no doubt that both sides can agree on one thing: that 2025 was a strong year for R&amp;B.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAs noted\u00a0in<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/partnerships%20and%20touring%20success;%20https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/best-r-and-b-album-2026-grammy-predictions-nominees\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Billboard\u2019s October story\u00a0<\/a>predicting which R&amp;B artists would score nominations for the 68<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0annual Grammy Awards, this year witnessed anticipated returns (Justin Bieber, GIV\u0112ON, Teyana Taylor, Kehlani, Bryson Tiller) and breakthroughs by a mix of established and rising stars (Ravyn Lenae, Mariah the Scientist, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Leon Thomas).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThis year also uncorked a refreshing blend of contemporary, alternative and traditional R&amp;B as fermented by the aforementioned in addition to genre torch bearers such as Lalah Hathaway and Bilal plus promising movers and shakers such as Durand Bernarr, Kwn and Destin Conrad. Also notching notable buzz this year: Odeal and Summer Walker, the latter sliding under the wire with the final chapter in her\u00a0Over It\u00a0trilogy.
