The celebrity drama was blasted wide open after Brooklyn took to social media to call out his family\u2019s alleged treatment of wife Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham<\/a>, whom he married in 2022.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn wrote in part of his statement: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”<\/p>\n

But someone who has largely remained silent is Nicola herself, and that\u2019s continued in the latest interaction with the press.<\/p>\n

The actress dodged a question by the Hollywood Reporter<\/a> as she was talking about her appearance in the final episode of Ryan Murphy\u2019s the Beauty <\/em>TV show.<\/p>\n

The reporter asked her on March 5: \u201cThere\u2019s been a lot of public interest in your real life and relationship with husband Brooklyn Beckham\u2019s family. How have you navigated that attention?\u201d<\/p>\n

Immediately, Nicola pivoted away to share she has been editing her new film, Prima<\/em> \u2018for the past two and a half weeks.\u2019<\/p>\n

“So honestly, I\u2019ve been in the editing room. We haven\u2019t had weekends. We\u2019ve just been trying to make a deadline.”<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old added that \u2018it\u2019s been so amazing to just put my focus on that and be creative,\u2019 continuing: “It\u2019s been really fun doing that, and I\u2019m really excited for it to come out.”<\/p>\n

Similarly, it\u2019s how her dad handled a question about the drama on February 3 during a Q and A at WSJD’s Invest Live in West Palm Beach event.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cMy daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today. But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.\u201d<\/p>\n

His comments came after Brooklyn claimed in his post: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
