It’s finally here! After what has felt like an actual eternity, Harry Styles<\/a>‘ fourth studio album Kiss<\/em> All The Time. Disco, Occasionally <\/em>has finally arrived, and it’s safe to say we won’t be listening to anything else for at least a fortnight. In particular, to the final song in the album, \u201cCarla’s Song,\u201d which Harry has said is the \u201cmost important\u201d part of the entire record. So who is this mysterious Carla? If you haven’t reached the end of the album yet (hard to relate, as we’ve listened to \u201cComing Up Roses\u201d on repeat), then the final song on the album is called \u201cCarla’s Song.\u201d It’s already becoming one of fans’ favorite songs and many feel like it’s a follow-up or older sister track to \u201cSatellite\u201d from Harry’s third album Harry’s House<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The song features lyrics such as \u201cI know what you like, I know what you’ll really like\u201d and \u201cYou’ve been a baby sleeping upon a candy bar\/ Till your eyes open on the changing summer light.\u201d But who is it actually about? Who is \u201cCarla\u2019s Song\u201d about?<\/h2>\n

While speaking about the new album with Zane Lowe<\/a>, Harry opened up on the song’s inspiration, saying \u201cCarla’s Song\u201d is about one of him friends, named Carla, who inspired him to write the song after they spoke about music at a house party. Apparently, he was waiting with Carla at a friend’s house to head to an after party, and she was speaking about discovering Paul Simon, one half of Simon and Garfunkel.<\/p>\n

As Harry recalled, “I then played her ‘Cathy’s Song,’ which is my favorite Simon and Garfunkel song, and that’s why it’s called ‘Carla’s Song.'”<\/p>\n

Harry went onto add how significant the track is for the album, explaining, “Carla kind of just became the most important part of the record to me. It is a song that answered so many questions.”<\/p>\n

So, who is Carla?<\/h2>\n

As for who the real Carla is, well, Harry currently doesn’t follow anyone on Instagram called Carla. This could be because she doesn’t have Instagram or Harry is wanting to protect her from the limelight. Either way we know she is one of his close friends. <\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time Harry has written a song with a woman’s name in it. In Harry’s House<\/em>, one of the most moving tracks is a song called \u201cMatilda,\u201d which Harry has revealed is inspired by someone in his life, but that he has wrapped their story up with the fictional tale of Matilda from Roald Dahl’s children’s book Matilda<\/em>. <\/p>\n
