In the midst of the press tour, Jennings is speaking out about the All-Star season, after fans have speculated about the difficulty of the spinoff.<\/p>\n<p>Live host <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/kelly-ripa\/\">Kelly Ripa<\/a> asked him on March 5, \u201cLet me ask you this. Do they make the questions easier for celebrities?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a nice way to say that,\u201d Jennings replied. \u201cYou didn\u2019t say \u2018dumbed down.&#8217;\u201d He laughed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo. Celebrity Jeopardy! is for real Jeopardy! Our brand is \u2018smart people knowing smart stuff,\u2019 and that\u2019s true even if it\u2019s the celebrity version,\u201d the host confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say that they typically ask harder questions about movies or theaters to celebrities. \u201cWell, yeah, because that\u2019s their business,\u201d Ripa replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know they\u2019re playing for charity. Even in the regular show, we want people to be correct. Jeopardy! is never trying to stump anyone,\u201d Jennings confirmed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ken Jennings Talks About What to Expect on &quot;Celebrity Jeopardy! All Stars&quot;\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bIP_g6X_SZ4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe show kind of fails if it\u2019s three people doing this.\u201d Jennings stood there, pretending to hold a buzzer, staring blankly. \u201cWe want somebody to know it, and that\u2019s true of the celebrity shows, but it\u2019s still for real knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jennings went on to say that it is not the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/saturday-night-live\/\">Saturday Night Live<\/a> version, where the categories are \u201cA Word That Rhymes With Urple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always crush that one,\u201d Ripa joked, which made Jennings laugh.<\/p>\n<p>Jennings theory for those who win is that they are comedians because they can come up with answers quickly and are not embarrassed to yell at a heckler or embarrass themselves in public. \u201cEverything bad has happened to them on stage,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Season 1 winner,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/ike-barinholtz\/\">Ike Barinholtz<\/a>, will compete with\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/abbott-elementary\/\">Abbott Elementary<\/a>\u00a0star and Season 2 winner,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/lisa-ann-walter\/\">Lisa Ann Walter<\/a>, as well as comedian and Season 3 winner, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/w-kamau-bell\/\">W.
