According to a report from TMZ<\/u><\/a>, which first broke the news of the arrest, Brooks was taken into custody in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday around 2 a.m. The veteran small forward was processed and released from custody about 80 minutes later. The incident occurred around 1:35 a.m. on Feb. 21. Records from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office indicate that the All-Pro defender was “kind and cooperative” during the stop. This latest citation marks the ninth speeding ticket for Garrett since he joined the Browns in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The pattern of high-speed driving has been a recurring theme for the defensive standout. In 2022, Garrett survived a rollover crash in his Porsche after being clocked at 65 mph in a 45-mph zone. More recently, he was fined for driving 100 mph in a 60-mph zone last August.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
