Ken Jennings<\/a><\/strong> is spilling the tea on Celebrity Jeopardy!<\/p>\n While making an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark<\/a> this week, the Jeopardy! host was asked a question that fans have long been wondering about: Are the clues on Celebrity Jeopardy! easier than they are during regular season games?<\/p>\n According to Jennings, the questions aren’t specifically “dumbed down.”<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfacSIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfac<\/p>\n During his conversation with Kelly Ripa<\/a><\/strong> and Mark Consuelos<\/a><\/strong>, Jennings insisted that the Celebrity Jeopardy! questions are not made easier or “dumbed down” for celeb competitors.<\/p>\n “Celebrity Jeopardy!\u00a0is for real\u00a0Jeopardy!” the host said during the Thursday<\/a>, March 5 episode of Live. “Our brand is ‘smart people knowing smart stuff,’ and that\u2019s true even if it’s the celebrity version.”<\/p>\n Jennings went on to say that celebrities are usually given more difficult clues when it comes to movies<\/a> or theater, and that the Jeopardy! writers are “never trying to stump” contestants\u2014even if they are famous.<\/p>\n “We know they\u2019re playing for charity,” Jennings said, while insisting, “Even in the regular show, we want people to be correct.”<\/p>\n “We want somebody to know it, and that\u2019s true of the celebrity shows, but it\u2019s still for real knowledge,” he added.<\/p>\n But fans online weren’t so convinced of Jennings’ response, with several users on Instagram claiming the Celebrity questions are “absolutely easier” than the usual clues.<\/p>\n “Come on Ken,” one user wrote, while others said they can tell the Celebrity questions are easier because it’s the only time they “actually know the answers” while watching at home.<\/p>\n “Very tactful of Ken lol, celebrity jeopardy is definitely dumbed down \ud83d\ude02” another commenter chimed in. Even former winner W.
