Buttermore was a social media personality with over 570,000 Instagram followers and 1 million YouTube subscribers, sharing fitness and nutritional uploads. She had taken a step back from social media in 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been pretty MIA on social media all year, but I\u2019ve taken some pretty valuable things away from it,\u201d Buttermore wrote via Instagram<\/a> in May 2024. \u201cMy mental health has been the best it\u2019s ever been, but I\u2019ll give you some specifics. I no longer struggle with anxiety. At all. It was almost crippling a few years ago to the point I felt I couldn\u2019t breathe or leave my house. Now, I really don\u2019t have to care whether people liked what I posted or if they are saying negative things about me.\u201d<\/p>\nSince taking a hiatus from Instagram<\/a>, Buttermore learned to be \u201cway more present\u201d in her daily life.<\/p>\n\u201cWhen you don\u2019t even think about opening Instagram out of habit, it\u2019s like finally opening your eyes to what\u2019s going on around you,\u201d she added at the time. \u201cWhen I\u2019m with my family or Jeff, I\u2019m much more immersed in the moment. I take photos for the sake of saving memories and not because I\u2019m going to post it on my Story. I never get caught not listening to someone because I\u2019m checking comments, and I\u2019m in a better mood because I\u2019m not anxious. Family time is family time.\u201d<\/p>\n
