His family told TMZ that he died Thursday in Memphis, Tennessee, following a battle with cancer.<\/p>\n

Parker<\/a> began his career in the mid-1980s, landing the role of Pete in \u201cFriday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning<\/a>\u201d (1985), a performance that helped establish him in the horror genre.
