This week sees the release of \u201cHoppers<\/a>,\u201d Pixar<\/a>\u2019s latest film and the company\u2019s best movie since\u2026the original 2015 \u201cInside Out<\/a>,\u201d probably? I reviewed the film, giving it a B+ , and wrote that one of its best attributes is that it\u2019s the studio\u2019s first film in years to feel like it\u2019s coming from a very specific and unique point of view. Director Daniel Chong<\/a> has been in the Pixar orbit for a while, getting his start as a storyboard artist on films like \u201cCars 2<\/a>\u201d and \u201cInside Out<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

But before \u201cHoppers<\/a>,\u201d he was best known for his 2015 Cartoon Network<\/a> series \u201cWe Bare Bears<\/a>,\u201d a series with a lot of creative DNA that can clearly be seen in how \u201cHoppers<\/a>\u201d was conceptualized.<\/p>\n
