We chatted with some of the ‘Love Is Blind’ season 10 cast members about their experience filming in Columbus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/story-highlights> Alex from season 10 of “Love Is Blind” has taken to social media to defend himself and correct some misconceptions about him.<\/p>\n Alex Lowrie<\/a>, that is.<\/p>\n Lowrie, 33, posted a video to his Instagram<\/a> account on March 4 to “clear his name” in good fun after some online detectives appear to have confused him with Alex Henderson, who also appeared on season 10<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lowrie said in the video he’s been getting “a lot of hate” and been called names \u2013 with screenshots of messages and tags on social media to prove it \u2013 from people who believe him to be Henderson. Lowrie even jokingly showed Henderson’s photo before correcting it with his own.<\/p>\n During his stint on the show, Lowrie did not form a connection with anyone in the pods while Henderson connected with Ashley Carpenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Henderson’s comments throughout the show<\/a> have drawn criticism online, including his vocal support of President Donald Trump \u2212 who he didn’t vote for in 2024 because he was out of the country. Henderson also talked about where he would have a safe house, something Lowrie said he would be surprised if he needed in a romantic relationship, or ever.<\/p>\n Lowrie said in the video he has been registered to vote since he was 18 and has never voted for “the orange guy.”<\/p>\n “Please stop,” Lowrie said of the people calling him a “Trumper” and a “fascist.”<\/p>\n In the video, Lowrie said he sees himself as a man, not a turtle, but if he had to describe his turtle’s shell, it would be “Midwest average and I’m completely comfortable with that.” He’s lived in Columbus for 15 years and offered to show his lease to his apartment if needed. No ties to Arizona or Florida here.<\/p>\n Henderson’s nomadic lifestyle also drew criticism as a red flag on the show’s online discourse. He also commented about having a “very good shell.”<\/p>\n The furthest Lowrie has moved nomadically: “from my couch to the kitchen to grab a beer.”<\/p>\n Lowrie’s video has been liked nearly 5,000 times since it was posted.<\/p>\n “All jokes aside, I want you guys to remember that the people on the show are people and 97% of the people on the cast are good people.
