Christian Bale has revealed there is one film genre he has no plans to revisit.<\/p>\n

The 52-year-old actor addressed the topic after a journalist compared a scene from his upcoming film The Bride!<\/i> to his musical performance in Newsies<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would never have thought anybody would relate Newsies to The Bride! that\u2019s hysterical.\u201d he told Buzzfeed<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The actor said the genre he will \u201cnever\u201d revisit is musicals, referring to his early role in the 1992 film.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t think I’ll ever step foot in a musical again in my life. Of course, never say never, but almost never say never on this one.\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Dark Knight <\/i>star plays Frankenstein\u2019s monster in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s new take on the Bride of Frankenstein.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the project he said \u201cThis is something where it’s just a ridiculously energetic expression, with possession.\u201d<\/p>\n

The movie stars Jessie Buckley as Mary Shelley and Jake Gyllenhaal as Ronnie Reed.<\/p>\n
