Police have identified 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz<\/strong> as the woman who allegedly fired shots into Rihanna<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s home on Sunday, March 8.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> can confirm that the Los Angeles Police Department has booked Ortiz for attempted murder, and she is being held on a $10 million bail.<\/p>\n

Several outlets, including the Los Angeles Times<\/em><\/a>, reported on Sunday that Rihanna, 38, was at home when a suspect \u201cfired multiple rounds<\/a> from inside her vehicle\u201d into the singer\u2019s Beverly Hills home. The LAPD confirmed to the newspaper that one round had \u201cpenetrated a wall\u201d of the house at 1:21 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The LA Times further reported that there were \u201cno injuries\u201d reported at the residence, where Rihanna lives with longtime partner ASAP Rocky<\/strong> and their three children<\/a>. Us Weekly<\/em> reached out to Rihanna\u2019s team and the LAPD on Sunday for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile Rihanna and ASAP Rocky started as music collaborators, their connection blossomed into something more. ASAP confirmed in a May 2021 interview with GQ that he was dating Rihanna and called her \u201cThe One.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s obvious they\u2019re a couple and also are each other\u2019s best friend,\u201d a source told Us Weekly in April 2021. \u201cThey [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the LAPD radio dispatch, \u201capproximately 10 shots\u201d were fired into the home. The alleged shooter was in a white Tesla and \u201cfled\u201d the scene. The suspect was reported as someone with her hair \u201cin braids,\u201d wearing \u201ca cream-colored blouse.\u201d Further details alleged that her car was \u201cdirty on the bottom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police officers located the vehicle and followed it to \u201ca shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks,\u201d where the suspect was taken into custody.<\/p>\n

NBC News<\/a> reported on Sunday that the suspect was allegedly armed with \u201can AR-15-style rifle.\u201d LAPD\u2019s \u201celite Robbery-Homicide Division\u201d is investigating the ongoing case, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

It has only been reported that Rihanna was home at the time of the incident. It\u2019s unclear whether Rocky, 37, was present. The couple, who have been together since 2020, share sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, 5 months.<\/p>\n

After news of the incident broke, TMZ published photos<\/a> of yellow crime scene tape blocking off the street where Rihanna\u2019s home is located. Neither Rihanna nor Rocky has made any public statements regarding the incident thus far.<\/p>\n
