I think that might be fun to do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nMustaine added that he\u2019s serious enough about the idea that he\u2019d even consider cutting his iconic hair if a role required it.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cIf they asked me to cut my hair, I\u2019d be willing to do it!\u201d he admitted. \u201cBut it would have to be for a guaranteed part \u2013 and a big part, to make that kind of a commitment!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nMustaine also revealed that he hopes to spend part of his retirement supporting and mentoring up-and-coming musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI really want to share my gift with younger musicians,\u201d he said. \u201cActually, it doesn\u2019t even have to be a younger musician. [If] it\u2019s somebody that\u2019s a little bit older and they want to learn what it is that makes Dave tick, I don\u2019t care about their date of birth, I just want to be able to share. I\u2019ve been gifted [from God].
