The monarch described the Commonwealth as a “remarkable association” spanning every continent and ocean, bringing together diverse cultures, languages and faiths under common principles of democracy, justice and mutual respect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He characterised the voluntary union as “rare and precious” in an increasingly divided world, serving nearly three billion people across member states.<\/p>\n
