Dak Prescott<\/strong>\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9e, Sarah Jane Ramos<\/strong><\/a>, is addressing one persistent rumor surrounding their recent breakup<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis had nothing to do with a prenup,\u201d Ramos wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Monday, March 9. \u201cI hope we can put that rumor to rest now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The comment came after Ramos saw a clip from the \u201cSpeakeasy\u201d podcast where several hosts speculated about what could have led to Prescott\u2019s recent split.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am anti-prenup,\u201d host Emmanuel Acho<\/strong> shared in the discussion. \u201cI believe that if you need a contingency plan for marriage, you shouldn\u2019t be marrying them. If you need to protect yourself from your future partner, who you have to lay in bed with every night \u2014 the potential mother or father of your children \u2014 you shouldn\u2019t be marrying them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just weeks before they were set to tie the knot in Italy, Prescott, 32, and Ramos called off their wedding.<\/p>\n

A representative for Ramos confirmed the news to People<\/i><\/span><\/a> on Monday after reports surfaced that the future bride and groom \u2014 who share daughters Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 9 months \u2014 emailed their wedding guests to announce the ceremony had been canceled. \u201cThere wasn\u2019t any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up. It was a mutual decision,\u201d Ramos\u2019 rep explained. \u201cThey love their girls, and they\u2019re committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way. It\u2019s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many fans of the couple were surprised to hear the news, especially after Ramos had just returned home from a bachelorette party at an undisclosed tropical location.<\/p>\n

In a recent Instagram post, Ramos shared a glimpse into the festivities, which included boat rides, jet skiing and fun in the sun.<\/p>\n
