After getting a shoutout on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, Eva Mendes made sure she’d be ready for any surprises when Ryan Gosling hosted Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The 52-year-old actress and mom, who is rarely seen in public with Gosling, shared a video of the process of getting herself ready to attend the taping of the late-night show<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Mendes and Gosling met in 2011 and have been together since, though they largely keep their love story out of the spotlight<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Eva Mendes<\/a> was ready for anything when Ryan Gosling<\/a> hosted the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 45-year-old Barbie<\/em> star took over the popular late-night show for its Saturday, March 6 episode, alongside musical guests Gorillaz. The gig came only two days after Gosling surprised his longtime love with a very public shoutout<\/a> while on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> to celebrate her 52nd birthday.<\/p>\n Just in case he had something similar up his sleeve for SNL<\/em>, Mendes took some steps to make sure she was ready in full Hollywood glam.<\/p>\n Taking to Instagram on Monday, March 9, Mendes shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at herself getting ready to join Gosling at the taping in New York City.<\/p>\n In the clip, she’s getting her hair styled into a chic, teased look as a hairstylist layers hairspray to keep everything in place.
