A video game legend is taking on President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s administration after he accused the White House of using his voice for a \u201cpropaganda video\u201d to back the administration\u2019s war on Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Steve Downes, the voice behind the soldier Master Chief from the Halo<\/a> video game franchise, took to social media<\/a> on Sunday to slam the White House<\/a> for posting a video<\/a> featuring his iconic character declaring that he\u2019s \u201cfinishing this fight.\u201d The Halo clip tees up separate footage of a strike followed by an explosion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cLet me make this crystal clear: I did not participate in nor was I consulted, nor do I endorse the use of my voice in this video, or the message it conveys,\u201d Downes wrote.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI demand that the producers of this disgusting and juvenile war porn remove my voice immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The White House shared the video on Thursday, a little under two weeks after the start of the U.S.-Israeli military offensive on Iran.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The video uses footage of various other explosions and strikes sprinkled among clips from popular franchises like \u201cTransformers,\u201d \u201cStar Wars,\u201d \u201cBreaking Bad,\u201d and \u201cYu-Gi-Oh!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n celebrity.land has reached out to the White House for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The comments from Downes arrive months after the White House shared a seemingly AI-generated image<\/a> that depicts the president as Master Chief as he salutes a giant American flag.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Downes joins Ben Stiller in slamming the White House over the most recent video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The comedian and actor took to social media on Friday to call out<\/a> the White House and stressed that the administration never got permission to use a clip from the movie \u201cTropic Thunder.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u2033[We] have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine.
