Music financing platform beatBread<\/a> has made three senior hires, as the company continues to expand its funding operations for independent artists and labels.<\/p>\n The US-based firm announced that Christine Barnum<\/strong> will join as Head of Financial Operations, Michael Poole<\/strong> as Chief Financial Officer, and Jameson Toole<\/strong> as Board Advisor on AI and Machine Learning.<\/p>\n According to the company, each executive will serve in a fractional capacity, contributing expertise in music operations, structured finance, and technology as beatBread<\/strong> develops its platform and capital base.<\/p>\n Founded in 2020, beatBread<\/strong> provides advances to independent artists and labels backed by their music rights and revenue streams. During her tenure at the company, she oversaw more than $1 billion in royalty payouts to artists and helped lead initiatives related to royalty reporting systems, tax compliance, and anti-fraud operations, and played a key role in corporate development and M&A.<\/p>\n Poole<\/strong> joins through finance and accounting services firm Countsy<\/strong> and brings more than 20 years of experience in global credit and capital markets. He previously held leadership roles at Community Investment Management, CircleUp<\/strong> and Columbia Threadneedle Investments<\/strong>, working on institutional credit portfolios and structured finance strategies across multiple regions.
