Television presenter Davina McCall<\/a> often finds herself mistaken for fellow presenter Claudia Winkleman<\/a>, leading her to joke about dressing as The Traitors<\/em><\/a> host for Comic Relief<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She recalled a recent encounter where two girls asked for a photo<\/a>, one whispering, “She doesn\u2019t know who you are,” and adding, “My mum loves The Traitors<\/em>.<\/a>” McCall joked, “I tell you what I should do on the night (of Comic Relief<\/a>), I should come dressed as Claudia,” noting the confusion is mutual.<\/p>\n

McCall, 58, will also co-host \u201cComic Relief: Funny For Money\u201d alongside Catherine Tate\u2019s “Nan.”<\/a> Admitting to being “mildly terrified of Nan,” she anticipates a challenge in curbing the character’s notorious language.<\/p>\n

“How I\u2019m going to stop her from swearing, I just don\u2019t know,” she said, adding, “Obviously, \u2018please do not swear\u2019 was my catchphrase \u2013 so I\u2019m going to have to stay on my toes.”<\/p>\n

The annual fundraising drive sees stars across the BBC “do something funny for money,” including Radio 1 DJ Greg James, undertaking a 1,000km tandem cycle. Ahead of the main event, The One Show on Thursday will offer sneak peeks, and Friday\u2019s Blue Peter episode transforms into “Red Peter.”<\/p>\n
