Chip<\/a> and Joanna Gaines<\/a> are the latest celebrities to join in on the childhood photos<\/a> social media trend.<\/p>\n Several social media users have been uploading sweet throwback photos alongside captions about who they grew up to be. Joanna got in on the fun on Monday, March 9, by sharing several of her and Chip\u2019s childhood photos via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThese kids had no idea what was coming\u2026 @chipgaines,\u201d she captioned the post.<\/p>\n Alongside her first childhood pic, in which she smiled at the camera while wearing a red sweater, Joanna wrote, \u201cThis is who you\u2019re asking to choose every paint color in your house.\u201d The next slide, which featured one of Chip\u2019s school yearbook photos, read, \u201cThis is who is telling you your project will be done on time and on budget.\u201d<\/p>\n Joanna fittingly captioned a photo of her younger self washing dishes, \u201cThis is who you\u2019re trusting to design your kitchen.\u201d Underneath a funny photo of young Chip, she wrote, \u201cThis is who\u2019s buying the next fixer upper as a surprise\u2026 and seeing the potential.\u201d<\/p>\n Other childhood photos included Joanna wearing a white dress and crown, Chip riding his toy bike, a young Joanna playing in her living room, and Chip as a kid sporting a fun pair of sunglasses.<\/p>\n Joanna captioned her other photos by writing, \u201cThis is who you\u2019re asking to stick to the budget,\u201d and \u201cThis is who says anything is possible in design (but it\u2019ll cost you).\u201d Joanna also poked fun at Chip\u2019s job in his other photo captions, writing, \u201cThis is who\u2019s taking a sledgehammer to your kitchen,\u201d and \u201cThis is who you\u2019re trusting to behave on national TV.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans gushed over the couple\u2019s throwback snaps in the post\u2019s comments. \u201cThis is hilarious and absolutely ADORABLE!!\u201d one person wrote. Another added, \u201cStop my heart<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n .\u201d Someone else shared, \u201cThese are fabulous! Huge personality<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n .\u201d Another person said they could see the couple\u2019s kids in their photos, adding, \u201cWhat a beautiful share.\u201d<\/p>\n Chip and Joanna tied the knot two years after they met in 2001. They share five kids<\/a>, including Drake, Ella, Duke, Emmie, and Crew. The pair rose to fame through their HGTV series Fixer Upper<\/a>, which debuted in 2013.<\/p>\n Though the couple founded their Magnolia Market in 2003, the company has grown into a home design and media empire over the years.
