\t\t<\/p>\n Joshua Jackson<\/strong><\/a> is making his first public comments about the death of his Dawson\u2019s Creek<\/em> co-star James Van Der Beek<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n If you do not know, James<\/strong> sadly passed away<\/a> on February 11 at the age of 48 after a battle with colorectal cancer.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI mean I think it hits in a variety of different ways. For me as a father now, I think the enormity of the tragedy for his family hits in a very different way than just as a colleague, so I think the process is just ongoing,\u201d Joshua<\/strong> said on the Today<\/em> show on Tuesday (March 10).<\/p>\n \u201cHe and I shared this amazing time at a very young point in our lives. I know both of us look back at that time with great fondness, but I will also say that I know I\u2019m really just a footnote in what he accomplished in his life,\u201d Joshua <\/strong>continued.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cHe became what we usually just call a \u2018good man.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cA man of the kind of belief, the kind of faith that allowed him to face the impossible with grace. An unbelievable partner and husband.
