\u201cBasically, shut the (expletive) up,\u201d Simmons told TMZ<\/a>. \u201cDo your art and shut up. Nobody\u2019s interested in your opinions, that includes me. Who I vote for. Who I like. Who the (expletive) do you think you are?\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cPeople in America work hard for a living and they don\u2019t want to be lectured to by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls Royces. It\u2019s time for everybody in the entertainment industry to shut their pie-hole and just do your art. Nobody cares what you think. I don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n The 76-year-old specifically called out actors Ben Stiller<\/a> and Mark Ruffalo<\/a> who have been known to criticize President Donald Trump, especially after his airstrikes on Iran.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat does Mark think about politics? I don\u2019t care,\u201d Simmons chirped. \u201cOr go to Kylie Jenner and ask her what she thinks of the war so far.\u201d<\/p>\n Stiller recently made headlines<\/a> after the award-winning actor slammed the White House for using a clip from one of his movies. The movie star asked the White House to delete its clip of his 2008 film \u201cTropic Thunder,\u201d which was used in a video posted via X<\/a> on March 5 that showed brief seconds of military strikes and scenes from several different movies.<\/p>\n \u201cHey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine,\u201d Stiller wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cWar is not a movie.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile Ruffalo told people on X<\/a> March 2 to call their \u201cSenators and Congress members to say: No war with Iran!\u201d<\/p>\n The actor added, \u201cTwo critical votes are happening in both chambers to stop Trump\u2019s illegal, devastating war.\u201d<\/p>\n Simmons has also been open about his political beliefs in recent years. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee<\/a> predicted Donald Trump\u2019s victory in 2016, calling him \u201cgood for the political system\u201d in an interview with Rolling Stone<\/a> at the time.
