Mickey Rourke has officially lost his rented Los Angeles home.<\/p>\n
Court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday show that Rourke\u2019s former residence on Drexel Ave. is now back under the control of its landlord, Eric T. Goldie.<\/p>\n
The judgement was filed on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court by default \u2014 meaning the \u201cCelebrity Big Brother UK\u201d alum likely failed to appear in defense of himself or respond to the complaint before a court deadline.<\/p>\n Mickey Rourke, seen here in Los Angeles in January, has officially lost his rental home. People was the first to report the news<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n A rep for Rourke did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n In December, a court filing demanded Rourke vacate the home in three days or come up with $59,100 in back rent<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rourke, 73, was later seen removing belongings from the house<\/a> in January, with a U-Haul truck appearing in the driveway a day later. At the time, Page Six learned the \u201cIron Man 2\u201d actor was staying in an upscale West Hollywood, Calif., hotel<\/a>, with rooms starting at $550 a night.<\/p>\n Possession of the residence has been granted in a default judgement to landlord Eric T. The \u201cconfused\u201d and \u201cfrustrated\u201d actor insisted in an Instagram video in January that he didn\u2019t ask for \u201cf\u2013king charity\u201d\u00a0and insisted, \u201cThat\u2019s not me, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n While cradling a small dog, Rourke claimed he \u201cwouldn\u2019t know what a GoFund[Me] foundation is in a million years\u201d and said he has \u201ctoo much pride\u201d to ask for help.<\/p>\n \u201cIf I needed money, I wouldn\u2019t ask for no f\u2013king charity,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019d rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger \u2026 My life is very simple, I wouldn\u2019t go to outside sources like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Rourke was seen leaving the home in January, with a U-Haul later appearing in the driveway.
