Billie Eilish<\/a> is set to make her film acting debut in Sarah Polley<\/a>\u2019s film adaptation of Sylvia Plath<\/a>\u2019s \u201cThe Bell Jar<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Academy Award winner Polley is set to adapt the screenplay and direct the film, her first movie since winning the best adapted screenplay Oscar for \u201cWomen Talking<\/a>\u201d in 2023. [To note, Eilish<\/a> is a two-time Oscar winner for co-writing the original songs for \u201cBarbie<\/a>\u201d and \u201cNo Time to Die<\/a>\u201d with her brother Finneas.]<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bell Jar<\/a>\u201d has landed at Focus<\/a> Features and will be produced by Joy Gorman Wettels<\/a>, Plan B Entertainment<\/a>, and StudioCanal<\/a>. Gorman Wettels originated the project through her company Joy Coalition<\/a>, packaging the project with Eilish and Polley and partnering with Plan B<\/a> and StudioCanal ahead of Focus boarding.<\/p>\n
