I canceled tours,\u201d Lopez told Chang, referring to the May 2024 cancellation of her This Is Me… Live tour<\/a>. \u201cI just decided to be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it through work, through another person, through anything \u2014 just sit.\u201d<\/p>\n The star then added that, in addition to processing what she had been through, it was her kids who took precedence over all else in the wake of her and Affleck\u2019s high-profile split.<\/p>\n \u201cI needed to be home with my kids,\u201d she said of her twins, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony<\/a>, adding that the teens were \u201cthe priority at that time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was just at a point where I was like, \u2018What is going on with you?\u2019 Because I couldn\u2019t blame anybody else because I don\u2019t think that that\u2019s where the lesson is,\u201d Lopez added, \u201cand so I really wanted to figure myself out.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the Nightline <\/em>interview, the mom of two revealed that she is \u201chappy\u201d and loving single life at the moment.<\/a> Asked if she is \u201cdating up a storm,\u201d the star laughed and told Chang, “No. I\u2019m not! God forbid, I don\u2019t want to ruin anything!”<\/p>\n As for what there is to “ruin,” Lopez went on to explain that she is loving her life as it is at the moment. \u201cIt\u2019s so nice right now. I\u2019m so happy,\u201d the star said. \u201cIt\u2019s the best. I just feel really good right now.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd that was the scary thing for me when I was younger. Like, I didn\u2019t know if I could do that,\u201d she said of being single. \u201cI was always afraid to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in February 2024 The star also said that she is currently “surrounded by love\u201d despite no current flame in her life.<\/p>\n \u201cI am a mom of graduates this year who are going to college,\u201d she said of 18-year-old twins<\/a>, Maximilian “Max” David Muniz<\/a> and Emme Maribel Muniz<\/a>. \u201cI am a showgirl, and an entertainer and an actor. An entrepreneur. And I am happy. I am happy. And I am healthy.
