\n\tThe Pussycat Dolls have announced<\/a> their reunion as a trio featuring Nicole Scherzinger<\/a>, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts, armed with a new single \u201cClub Song\u201d and a global tour set for the United States, Europe and the U.K.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cClub Song\u201d<\/a> marks the group\u2019s first single since 2020\u2019s \u201cReact.\u201d The track, which was released early Thursday morning, is produced by Mike Sabath, who co-wrote with Scherzinger, Caroline Ailin and Solly. In addition to the new single, the Pussycat Dolls<\/a> will reissue their albums \u201cPCD\u201d and \u201cDoll Domination\u201d on May 8. The former will be released on vinyl and digital with new and unreleased tracks, while the latter will be available for the first time on 2LP black vinyl.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo commemorate the reunion, the group is staging the 53-date \u201cPCD Forever\u201d tour featuring Lil\u2019 Kim and Mya on select shows. The first leg of the tour begins on June 5 at Palm Desert, CA\u2019s Acrisure Arena, before heading to West Hollywood for the Outloud Music Festival the next day. The trio will make stops in Phoenix, Tampa and New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden before concluding the U.S. portion at Dallas, TX\u2019s Dos Equis Pavilion on August 1. Then, they\u2019ll head to Copenhagen on September 9 and tour through Europe and the U.K. before wrapping the tour at London\u2019s O2 on October 13.<\/p>\n

\n\tFans have been suspecting that a Pussycat Dolls reunion was imminent as early as December, when rumors circulated on social media that the group had signed with CAA. A spokesperson for CAA told Variety<\/em> at the time that the agency did not represent them, as they were not together, but did count Scherzinger as a client. Last month, reports suggested that the Pussycat Dolls would in fact join back together as a trio with Scherzinger, Wyatt and Roberts.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the days leading up to the announcement, the Pussycat Dolls teased the comeback by rolling out an updated logo stating \u201cPCD Forever\u201d on social accounts and their official website. Instagram accounts for Live Nation venues in Norway, Denmark, Amsterdam and Leeds posted the message in pink text, \u201cWe guarantee our next concert announcement will Stickwitu!!,\u201d a reference to the group\u2019s 2005 hit and a suggestion that a tour will follow.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Pussycat Dolls reboot follows a successful few years for Scherzinger, who conquered Broadway by playing Norma Desmond in \u201cSunset Boulevard.\u201d She starred as Desmond in the 2023 revival on the West End before transferring to Broadway in 2024. Last year, she received the Tony for best actress in a musical.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis isn\u2019t the first time that the Pussycat Dolls have reunited. The group announced its revival in November 2019 and confirmed they had been recording new music with plans to tour the following year. In January 2020, they were featured on a new Meghan Trainor song before releasing their comeback single \u201cReact\u201d a week later. But after the COVID-19 pandemic began, the tour was delayed until Scherzinger announced its cancellation in January 2022 on social media. Soon after, members Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar said they found out about the cancellation from Scherzinger\u2019s post and were \u201cdisappointed\u201d with how it was handled.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Pussycat Dolls were initially formed in Los Angeles back in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin, who started the group as a burlesque act. Antin signed a deal with Interscope Records in 2003 to develop the collective into a bona fide music act. The group released its debut album \u201cPCD\u201d in 2005, spawning a string of hits including \u201cDon\u2019t Cha,\u201d \u201cButtons\u201d and \u201cStickwitu.\u201d They followed in 2008 with \u201cDoll Domination\u201d featuring the singles \u201cWhen I Grow Up\u201d and \u201cI Hate This Part,\u201d and embarked on a global tour the following year. Pussycat Dolls subsequently disbanded after several members announced they were leaving.<\/p>\n
