Robyn<\/a> has shared a new single, \u2018Blow My Mind\u2019, inspired by her young son. You can listen to it below.<\/p>\n The track serves as the fourth preview of the Swedish pop star\u2019s ninth studio album, \u2018Sexistential\u2019<\/a>, which is released on March 27 via Young. It follows the title track<\/a>, and the songs \u2018Talk To Me\u2019<\/a> and \u2018Dopamine\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n Produced by Klas \u00c5hlund, Robyn\u2019s latest offering is described as \u201ca tricked-out redux of \u2018Blow My Mind\u2019 from Robyn\u2019s 2002 third LP, \u2018Don\u2019t Stop The Music\u2019. The new take was written in tribute to the singer\u2019s three-year-old son.<\/p>\n Blow My Mind\u2019 is the one song on the album about my son,\u201d she explained of the hypnotic, raw cut.<\/p>\n \u201cI was in that early stage when I was with him all the time, and something about that closeness opened the song up to me again. Listening back to the original, I thought, \u2018I think it\u2019s one of the best songs I ever recorded, and I\u2019m just gonna do it again\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n Robyn continued: \u201cI rewrote the lyrics and I love this version\u2019s rawness. It\u2019s not cute, because it\u2019s not cute with children. They\u2019re cute, but the experience isn\u2019t. It\u2019s very punk.\u201d<\/p>\n
