Maya Rudolph<\/a> will make her Broadway debut in Oh, Mary!<\/p>\n

The SNL<\/a> star will take over the role of Mary Todd Lincoln<\/a> in Cole Escola<\/a>\u2019s play starting April 28 for an eight-week engagement through June 20. She is the latest to take on the role, originated by Escola<\/a>, following current \u2018Mary\u2019 John Cameron Mitchell, Jinkx Monsoon<\/a>, Jane Krakowski<\/a>, Tituss Burgess<\/a>, Betty Gilpin<\/a> and Hannah Solow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Escola<\/a>\u2019s play, Mary is reimagined as a wannabe cabaret star with a predilection for drinking. Escola won a Tony Award for their portrayal of Mary and Sam Pinkleton<\/a> won a Tony for his direction.<\/p>\n
