Prince William<\/a> and Princess Kate<\/a> drove a lifeboat down the Thames in London<\/a>, as they met with RNLI<\/a> staff and volunteer fundraisers.<\/p>\n

It was a trip down memory lane for the couple, with their first official royal engagement taking place at an RNLI station in Anglesey in February 2011.<\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales <\/a>can be seen taking turns behind the wheel of the vessel, donned in RNLI life jackets<\/a>, before enjoying pastries and a warm cup of tea with the organisation back on land.<\/p>\n

In a post to Instagram<\/em> on Thursday, 12 March, the royals wrote, “It was wonderful to meet the crews to hear firsthand about rescues on the river.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
